I'm excited by patterns emerging on what's led to new role success, and the candid insights from participants on how they will update approaches when starting their "next thing" - whenever and whatever that may be.

Perhaps most fascinating is what is being brought up within a space that is not about technology, controls, budgets, risks, or threats - but about moving from being a cyber executive to a business executive. I wish I could share!! (But that would potentially influence upcoming interviews.)

I'm learning about the nuance and mindset that helped others succeed, that if I were to seek a CISO role again would be immensely valuable to me. l can see the career trajectory impacts, starting from accepting the job offer to several months into the a new role.
